Do you find yourself making the same mistakes over and over again and want to do something different, but are just not sure how? Have you been carrying around a deep pain in your life that you want to resolve? Often these things are connected. I can help you change the current unwanted behavior, while also helping you resolve issues from your past that may be effecting your reactions.

I have 40 years of experience waiting to help you. I have always tried to be the type of therapist I would want for myself. I bring to you many years of clinical and personal experience and the ability to work on a full range of emotions. I am a compassionate therapist who tries to create a supportive relationship with each client. I believe that in order to have healthy relationships, one must know and empathize with one's self. Together, we will heal the past, set new goals, make healthier choices, and achieve your dreams.

Have you ever wondered if you're being held back by old patterns? So many of us feel dragged down by stress and fear that we don't know how to move forward. Learning new coping and communication skills can prove to be the healing for our pain; it can connect past, future and present, forming continuity and hope. We can explore your personal stories as a way of coping with pain and finding meaning. Together we can work through important life stages and challenges.

I use a strengths-based, client-centered approach that moves beyond the traditional disease model and sees the innate worth and potential in every person. I believe that trauma is behind many of the mental health issues we face. Incorporating trauma-informed techniques such as Image Transformation Therapy and reparenting is pivotal in helping people break free from whatever holds them back. I work with clients facing depression, anxiety, addiction, compulsive behaviors, grief, abandonment, self-esteem, and a whole host of other issues. I am passionate about seeing people become their highest and most authentic selves. I am also certified in Gottman Level 1: Bridging the Couple Chasm. I believe the ability to communicate well is essential in every type of relationship.
